Crossing Thresholds builds schools in the largest slum in Africa (Kibera, Kenya) to enable children to rise above the burden of food insecurity, the absence of public education, and the threat of hopelessness.  We deliver on our mission by partnering with local community leaders, employing Kenyan teachers, offering daily breakfast and lunch, running a wide range of extra-curricular programs, and bringing dedicated volunteers from across the globe. Together, we provide the children of Kibera with a quality education and a brighter future.
