Not everyone can afford a trip to Kenya. For some, the cost is prohibitive. Yet, the presence of volunteers is at the very heart of our mission; and Crossing Thresholds wants to make the trip accessible for as many volunteers as possible. 

This summer, several prospective volunteers are hoping to travel to Kenya AND offer their gifts and talents to the children of Kibera. But they will need your support. Together, we can make it happen, knowing that a modest investment will have lasting returns for the children, teachers, and families that we serve. 

Every volunteer travels to Kibera to listen, to learn, and to work alongside community leaders for the empowerment of the next generation of young Kenyans. The community of volunteers creates connections and fosters change.
