$0 raised of $2,650 goal
Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
I’m excited to share some important news. I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to Kenya to volunteer with Crossing Thresholds, an extraordinary nonprofit that builds schools and helps some of the world’s poorest children get the education they need to break the cycle of poverty.
I’ll be working in Kibera, Africa’s largest slum, where hundreds of thousands live with limited access to basic necessities like clean water, healthcare, and, especially, education. I’ll be supporting teachers and working directly with students, contributing hands-on to help make a difference.
Ok, here’s the ask: I’m hoping to raise $2,650 to cover travel costs. It’s a modest investment considering the return: enabling very poor kids to get the education they’ll need to build a brighter future.
If you’re able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference, and all donations are tax-deductible.
